Milwaukee Machine Works offers decades of experience in the complex machining of medium to large components, ranging from drive hubs for construction machinery to wind turbine gearbox housings.  CNC machining capabilities include:

• 4 & 5 (with quill) axis horizontal machining centers & bars, from 500mm pallet machines to a Gidding & Lewis MC1250 offering a 2500mm X 3000mm machining envelope with twin pallets.
• Horizontal and vertical turning, up to 1400mm diameters.
• Vertical machining centers go up to 750mm x 1250mm. 

MMW's newly installed Leitz PMM-G ultra-accurate CMM offers a measuring envelope of 3 X 4 X 2.5 meters, offering some of the most precise large-envelope CMM capabilities in North America (repeatable to 0.6 micron over the entire measurement area!).  This offers superior process control for tight tolerance components required in demanding applications such as wind energy, solar power, off-highway equipment, agricultural machinery, etc.
